How to RICA my SIM?
Self-RICA your SIM in just a few simple steps. Here's how:
Step 1: Start the RICA Process
- Open WhatsApp on your phone and send the word RICA to 063 901 0001.
Step 2: Follow the Automated Steps
- You'll receive automated instructions to guide you through the RICA process. Simply follow the steps as provided.
No ID or Proof of Address? No Problem
- Our system typically verifies your details automatically, so you may not need to provide your ID or proof of address. If we can't verify your details, we will ask for these documents.

How to join us and keep your number
You can join us and keep your existing number by porting it to our network, hassle-free!
Here's how to get started:
Step 1: Ensure Your SIM is RICA'd
- Make sure your SIM card has been RICA'd before beginning the porting process.
Step 2: Insert Your SIM Card
- Insert your SIM card into your device.
Step 3: Initiate the Porting Process
- Send a WhatsApp message with the keyword "Port" to our Self-Service line at https://wa.me/27639010001.
- You will receive step-by-step instructions on how to seamlessly port your number to our network.
Important Note
- You can now insert your new SIM card and proceed with porting your number while the SIM is already in your device.
What to do if my SIM is working but I cannot connect to the internet?
When inserting your Fundi Mobile SIM into your mobile device, the Access Point Name (APN) is automatically configured. However, if you experience delays, connectivity, or internet issues, follow these steps to troubleshoot:

- Toggle Airplane Mode
- Restart Your Device
- Manual APN Configuration
If issues persist, manually configure the APN in your device's network settings using these steps:

What happens if my SIM is stolen or lost?
If you need to perform a SIM swap, you'll need to get a new, non-RICA'd SIM from us. We’ll assist you with the swap and provide you with the ITC number.

How to top up with MyWallet?
Topping up your account using MyWallet is easy. Follow these steps to complete your purchase:
Step 1: Open the your app
- Launch your app on your device.
- On the Home screen, find and tap on the "Top-up" icon.
Step 2: Select Your Top-up Option
- In the Top-up section, choose from the available options: Select either "Data" or "Airtime."
- Select your desired bundle.
Step 4: Choose Your Payment Method & Complete your Top up
- Specify your preferred payment method.
- Select the "MyWallet" option.
- Tap on the "Buy" button.
Once the transaction is successful, your data or airtime bundle will be added to your account. Enjoy your services!

How to change my app password?
If you are already logged in, log out of Fundi Mobile first:
- At the bottom of the Login screen tap on "Reset my password"
- You will receive an OTP code
- Enter new password
- Now you can login with your new password and mobile number

How do I send a Please call me?
Sending Please Call Me messages is simple and quick! You can send up to 7 messages per day. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Log In to the App
- Open the App and log in to your account.
Step 2: Navigate to Quick Links
- On the home screen, scroll to the Quick Links section.
- Select Send Please Call Me, indicated by a phone icon with a green box.
Step 3: Enter the Recipient's Number
- You can either manually input the recipient's phone number or select a contact using the black plus icon.
Step 4: Submit Your Message
- Once you’ve entered the number, tap Submit to send the Please Call Me message.
That's it! You've successfully sent a Please Call Me message.
